ABOUT THE SUMMIT
The ultimate purpose of the Summit is to convene like-minded young people, provide them with a forum for networking, and assist them as they apply their enthusiasm and creativity to produce tangible, sustainable solutions to real-life issues.
This year, in response to significant interest in a results oriented, student run forum committed to taking on today's biggest challenges, CELF and Hackley School partnered to provide high school students from across Westchester County, and the surrounding region, the opportunity to conduct such an event.
Student Sustainability Summit '11

Co-Sponsors: CELF & Hackley School
Led by high school students from across Westchester County & NYC
On April 10th, students from 19 Westchester and Duchess County and NYC high schools participated in the Student Sustainability Summit '11. Professionals participated in the focus group discussions, lending expertise, suggesting resources and supporting project growth. The event concluded with presentations by the group leader(s) to all participants. The panel of experts provided feedback and recommendations.
