Karina Funk, CFA, is a partner at Brown Advisory, co‐portfolio manager of the Brown Advisory Large‐Cap Sustainable Growth strategy, and Head of Sustainable Investing. Ms. Funk and her team have developed an original fundamental research methodology focused on finding companies at the intersection of positive fundamental and sustainable business drivers. Prior to joining Brown Advisory, Ms. Funk was an equity research analyst for Winslow Management Co and an investment manager at the Massachusetts Renewable Energy Trust. Her first career was as an environmental engineer with international experience operating in Spanish‐ and French‐speaking environments. Ms Funk earned engineering degrees at Purdue University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a post‐graduate diploma from the Ecole Polytechnique, France.

David M. Ross
Managing Director, joined Neuberger Berman in 2005. David is a Senior Portfolio Manager for the Fraenkel Group within the firm’s Private Asset Management division. Prior to joining the firm, he was a director within the Private Investment Management division at Prudential/Wachovia Securities. David began his career at E.F. Hutton & Co. as a vice president and portfolio manager. He earned a BA from the University of California at Santa Cruz and also participated in the MBA program at the University of San Francisco, McLaren College of Business.
